I am doing several posts about toddler hairstyles. If you missed my first how-to guide on styling your toddlers hair with some quick and easy styles that help get the hair out of your daughters face, check out Easy Styles for Toddlers.
With the Super Bowl on Sunday, my Aunt and her family came over to watch the game. She has an adorable little two year old girl who loves to have her hair played with. She allowed me to do a few, quick and easy styles. I have not made a video on this, but I will share the pictures with a brief description.
Personally, I think elastics work great on little girls. Hair is often slippery and elastics help hold in hair so well and give it a pretty and polished look.
The first style is adorable little pigtails in front. On older girls this looks dated, but when your little girl has short cute hair this style is perfect. Add some adorable little bows and there is a great style for an active child. Girlie Glue contacted me several months ago and asked if they could send me some Girlie Glue and try it on little girls and post a picture promoting it. I have done this several times on Instagram several times. Girlie Glue is fantastic, I wish I had it when A was a toddler! It holds in bows, felt flowers, etc, so well. It doesn't bother the head so the girls leave the adorable accessory in. I dab a bit on the hair or the elastic and stick whatever accessory I want. I think my favorite part of Girlie Glue is that it is made with natural ingredients so it is perfectly safe for your little one to eat if she gets in on her finger and comes off so quick and easy with a little bit of water.
This second style was so cute! All I did was add an elastic in back of each pigtail and it made a cute additional style for the little one,.
