Little.Red.Braids: Gallary

Hello and welcome! My name is Brooke Cook and the creator behind all the beautiful hairstyles featured. My family consists of my husband Will, our daughter “A”, and our 4 year old dog Bear. We have decided to call our daughter A for identity purposes. As a child my Mom would often do my hair in ponytails, a bubble braid or a french braid. I remember my Mom always did my hair, even if it was just pulled up. As a teenager my Mom’s best friend made gorgeous bows and every girl always had curled hair and a pretty style. Those two things stuck in my head; I couldn’t wait to have my own little girl so I could do pretty hair every day! Now, fast forward several years… Eleven years ago I married my sweetheart, two and a half years later we had our daughter A. A was born with beautiful red hair and blue eyes. When she was an infant people would ask if her hair was natural or if we colored it; who would color their infants hair? Well, I am not one that would color my infant daughters hair! As a toddler her hair was so long and all I knew how to do was ponytails. I got tired of ponytails everyday and that is when I turned to hair blogs and YouTube. I begged my Mom to teach me how to french braid, but she could not remember so the first thing I learned how to do from YouTube was a french braid. My sister-in-law had shown me a few tricks to help with the french braid. Once I mastered the french braid, and I had the confidence to teach myself so many other braids. I had no idea the endless possibilities of styles I was capable of learning.
